Robert,
That is a sad story.  It will not matter to me if I can not get the new or any
firm ware loaded back into the Orion!

SDR may not be what it is cracked up to be in my opinion.  I started the update
and the two machines (computer & Orion) are not totally compatible and the
upload command or communications protocol is not right because I have a dead
box that has an electronic Ten Tec logo on it!

Going to Alan's house tonight and see if the expert can get it loaded.
