URGENT:

Fellow W5DXCC DXers:

Due to last minute problems created by the Southfork Hotel in Plano for
Friday's W5DXCC/LSDXA DX dinner, the location has been changed to the
Windhaven Room near the Plano Center's south entrance.

The dinner menu of baked chicken and enchiladas will remain the same as
will the program, but due to a situation brought on by the hotel, Ham
Com and the Lone Star DX Association were forced today (Tuesday) to 
change the location.  Both groups are humbly apologetic and hope this
will not inconvenience anyone.  DX dinner ticket sales however, have
ceased.

There is no change in the Ham Com location at the Plano Center.  All
Ham Com exhibits and programs will be held as scheduled.

Also, the LSDXA will still have its "DX Trifecta" of door prizes to be
awarded during the DX dinner to separate lucky winners. The top
grand-grand door prizes, each valued in excess of $500 will include a
$725 Tennadyne gift certificate for the purchase of either a Tennadyne
T8 log periodic or a Cubix quad antenna of the winner's choosing, an
Alpha 4500 series SWR/PWR meter, and an Array Solutions/WX0B "Power
Master" digital power meter.

Other DX dinner door prizes include a Comet/Diawa CN801 meter, a Bird
model 43 meter, W2IHY technologies mike equalizer, a set of Heil
headphones, a special Kenwood door prize, a Fluke 117/322 Electrician's
clamp on ammeter and digital multimeter kit, a Ten-Tec RP rig kit, and
a Buddipole gift certificate.

Also, there will be special YL/XYL dinner door prize drawings including
a free night and breakfast at the Southfork Hotel.

All XYL and YL dinner tickets will be put into the major door prize
drawings bucket after their door prizes are announced.

There will be a notice of the location change posted at the LSDXA booth
at Ham Com and one will be placed near the original location in the
Southfork Hotel.

If there is a location change for the Hospitality Room after the
dinner, it will also be announced.

Please post this notice on your local club reflectors so no one misses
out on a night of food, fun, and door prizes.
