BREAKING NEWS
The latest rules for the 2006 Poisson d'Avril contest have just been published
Now is the time to be planning your strategy for what arguably is the most
unique DX contest in existence. It is very unlikely that the 2007 rules will be
formalized until sometime after the event, so you are advised to follow as many
of the 2006 rules as possible. If you absolutely feel that you can not comply
with the 2006 rules but still desire to participate, you may use last year's
rules. The problem is that last year's rules were only published in pig Latin.
Maybe you can use your Google translator? Actually, I am not sure they were
ever published but rules are rules. Future rules will be in Esperanto, which
should eliminate logging errors due to language problems, assuming the sponsors
get around to publishing them.
Full information on the Poisson d'Avril DX Contest can be found at their web
page.

There is bit of confusion as to the start and ending times of the contest so I
have started entering stations in my log tonight. The log checkers probably will
not mind because they have already announced the winners of the contest.
I plan on operating 4 meter single band this year. I will be monitoring the 70
Mhz calling frequency while filling out my log. Give me a call.
Time to qsy to 70.450 MHZ FM.
